Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH)
Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) is the national voluntary welfare association for the visually impaired. SAVH aims to help the visually impaired to acquire new skills and gain self-reliance in order to integrate into society.
The Touch Art Programme equips our visually impaired (VI) clients with the skills to produce unique handmade handicraft items using the sense of touch. It provides clients a platform to showcase their talent, opportunities to socialise with others and also, employment opportunities through making the handicraft items. Your purchase will greatly benefit our VI clients under this programme; with net proceeds from the sales of all handicraft items being directed to them.
